hi wine is for linux not osx as far as I know. its used to emulate windows programs, so unless you want to install linux t emulate, its not so straightforward. Also it is quite difficult to use unless you know what you re doing. But, did you know you can install xp or vista on your mac and have it run windows programs directly? google bootcamp for more information on what this entails. in the mean time have you tried gimp? it does most of what photoshop does and its free http://www.gimp.org/macintosh/ hope this helps

Hi, if u can install wine for Linux, I think there is one for OS X as well at this page: sourceforge.net/projects/darwine This is a windows compatibility layer and u will have to learn to use it, but I think it has successfully ran Photoshop 7 for Windows. I hope I helped. Good Luck and take care!
