you can try since the only way to remove windows 7 is to format your drive you will need a vista disk also i would hope you were smart enough to dual boot windows 7 and keep vista on the other partition
Hi Jay, My name’s Ron and I’m a part of the Windows Outreach Team. I thought I’d drop in and offer a bit of advice here. If you still have Vista installed in another partition, things should be pretty easy when going back to your previous configuration. Many Vista computers have a recovery partition on their hard drives, and I’m guessing that if you backed up to your hard drive, this is where your info is backed up at. Poke around a bit and see if you can find any of the restore files in there, that should give you a clue.
