Anyone get Microsoft office working with Windows 7? -

I have been trying out Windows 7 and have Microsoft office installed on a different partition. When i try to start it up it says quot;the operating system is not currently configured to run this application.quot; Also when i put in the CD and try to install it, it just sits there and does nothing. Is there any hope? Anyone get it working? If so, how? Thanks.

Works fine for me. Try to run it in compatibility mode. Right click it, choose properties, and then i think there s a tab for compatibility

Go to the CD drive after putting it in and execute the setup program.
