Basically i was trying to make a dual boot of windows 7, when i installed it, it now looks like the color on my display is inverted. i tried messing with video properties, its set to true 32 bit colors, i tried reinstalling the video driver, the laptop uses a intel 965 express family chipset. i dont know what else i can do, can someone help? i tried doing the whole alt shift print screen to turn on high contrast, it just changes the colors again, but still inverted.....can someone help me please haha i want to try windows 7 out, looks nice. oh and when i boot back to my VISTA everything is fine.
I m guessing the video drivers just won t recognise it yet. You may have to wait a while for better compatible beta drivers.
I went to dell.com/support and downloaded the Vista video drivers for my Inspiron 1525 laptop. Install those drivers, but you ll first have to select Properties of the install executable, select the Compatibility tab and set it to Vista compatibility. Otherwise it won t install.
