Does Windows 7 have a build in media player? -

I was just wondering and think it would be assume idea, as you wouldn t need to open up media player to View or listen to media as it would be build into windows explorer, and it would also obviate the need for these extra peaces of software. As some people don t even need to use media player to organize the songs ETC. they can just use explorer. And i also wonder this because you have download media player separate, because it wont be installed with Windows 7? what your ideas on this?
