By definition, beta isn t stable and shouldn t be used on your primary machine. Though I ve found Windows 7 to be pretty stable (and am using it on my primary machine), it s possible that it won t like your hardware configuration as much as it did mine. It should be just as easy to dual-boot with Ubuntu as any other version of Windows.
go to virtualbox website and read the instruction on setting up a virtual box , with VB you can run several operating systems at the same time, Dual booting is old hat these days, get up to par with modern technology. click on the link below

No beta is stable enough to use on a primary machine. We will be lucky if the first released version is good enough. Rumors are that Windows 7 will install in a SP1 Virtual PC.
