If you install it over Vista, you will lose Vista (unless you have recovery disks or make a backup image). If you have to ask how to create a backup, how to use a recovery disk, how to remove Windows 7, etc., then you should not install Windows 7. Windows 7 is only a beta. There are too many people installing it over their current OS and are stuck now because they didn t think of creating a backup or making sure that they have recovery disks. Windows 7 beta will expire in August, so be prepared to have another OS ready to install by then.
Yes, you can install Windows 7, but it s still in beta, so you don t have the full performance of Windows 7. Just stick with Vista for the meantime.
windows 7 is microsofts next os if you install it over vista you will have a beta installed as your main os that still has bugs and will expire on august 1st if your not a beta tester or no nothing about computers dont download it
