How to Install Windows 7 Beta on iMac running OS X 10.4.11. ? -

So I see Windows Beta 7 is a free download, and I ve wanted to try out boot camp and running a dual OS (windows and mac) on my iMac. My OS X version is 10.4.11. Is this a stupid idea? I love my mac and it has never crashed or had a problem. but if something goes wrong in the instillation and renders my Mac OS X useless.. I ll have not idea how to fix it! is this a dumb move, or is it rather easy for a intelligent computer literate person to do? I d like to try it out. And tips, suggestions, or instructions would be helpfull.

I wouldn t do it. Betas are notoriously unstable, and you have an unconventional setup there. You might try checking various Apple boards to see if anyone has actually tried it with your hardware/software combo.
