Has the Windows 7 Beta been released? -

The windows 7 beta was supposed to be released today but i can t seem to find it. im just wondering if i missed out because there were only 2.5 million spots available. I checked the Windows 7 website and it looks like the beta hasn t been released yet, but im not sure. i checked at 12am(pacific time) and again at 12pm (pacific time) when it was supposed to come out, but there is nothing about downloading the beta except for: quot; Want to try the Beta? Come back the afternoon of January 9.quot;

Not officially as yet, but it has been available from unofficial sources for around the last ten days. Unfortunately I cannot divulge the links as I would be breaking community guidelines. Suffice to say it has the speed and stability of XP, and the looks and security of Vista. In short its everything Vista should have been from the outset and can t wait for the final release. LUg.
