What is windows 7, how does it work? -

Is it an really big update on vista, or is it a whole new thing that will have its own name. Also i just got my laptop for Christmas and it came with vista do you think that I would be able to run windows 7 flawlessly?

Windows 7 is an entirely new operating system, just like Vista was new from XP. Its in beta right now, so unless you re keen on messing around with untested betas and possibly having data loss or other problems, I wouldn t try it. That being said, it should work fine if you have Vista SP1 and you shouldn t even have to reinstall any programs or anything. You have to seek it out yourself, it isn t an update really.

Windows 7 is the next OS from Microsoft.I use it for a month now and it performs faster than Vista and requires lower requirements.It has a lot of improvements but the core is Vista. Windows 7 are simply beautiful.
