When you installed XP, it over-wrote W7 s Master Boot Record (MBR). That s why you can only boot to XP. To get both OSes to appear on the Dual-boot startup screen, re-istall W7 on C:/ or get VistaBootPro 3.3, $9, from: But, be careful, VBP is not for the beginner.
