Should I upgrade to windows 7 or not? -

Right now I have 4 gb of ram and a x2 core running at 4 ghz. I am running windows vista ultimate x64 at the moment. I just got the windows 7 beta and I was wondering if this is good enough to use instead of vista ultimate. I have the latest beta for x64. Is windows 7 better than vista for games? and Is it so much faster that I will be able to tell the difference? If so please tell me. What are the ups and downs for windows 7 vs vista ultimate? Also I have heard the x64 windows 7 has better support for x32 software than vista.

Almost all of the online games I play doesn t even support Vista yet. I can t imagine the delay of waiting for Windows 7 support =/ Just make sure you back it up before you try your Win 7 beta, cuz I know you re itching to ;)

You have windows ultimate which means you have the best OS right now. Beta means it s being tested. You are going to turn a good machine into a lab rat. Beta will have security issues, bugs and little to no support.

Wait it out. For the moment use Vista for games as you wont get much support for them in Windows 7. Also no doubt It will be buggy at the moment as you are in the test group to iron out the bugs.
