What happens when windows 7 expires in August. will i be without an operating system when windows 7 stops working? If install programs i paid for on w7 will i be about to use them again in oct. when windows 7 comes out?

To answer your first question, I will quote the Microsoft Windows 7 Beta Installation Instruction page: “The Windows 7 Beta will stop working on August 1, 2009. To continue using your PC, please be prepared to reinstall a prior version of Windows or a subsequent release of Windows 7 before the expiration date. We recommend doing a custom (clean) installation.” As to your second question, you will have to reinstall any programs you installed on your Windows 7 Beta OS to whichever OS you revert back to after the Beta expires.
