How can I stop my computer from freezing up when using explorer 7? I use windows XP if that helps. Frustrating -

For example, when I want to play yahoo pinochle, the blue banner at the top changes to a gray color and my computer stops responding. I have to use task manager to end the program. This happens often.

get a free copy of mozilla firefox and never use IE again. I have been using firefox for years without issues

the first thing is go back to internet explorer 6....i can t tell you how many people have downloaded internet explorer 7. and been sorry they did. internet explorer 7. is nothing but a big headache......i myself have had nothing but trouble with it. so i went back to ie 6....

what you do is you install Mozilla Firefox(Internet) then your computer wont lock up on you.

dont use windows explor if you still have the sbc internet logo on your desk top use that instead

check ur computer for viruses
