At the very beginning of the windows 7 beta a windows is asking me where to save the iso file. i stopped the ? -

download...where?

Download it to a place that you will remember where you saved it (desktop is nice and easy). Once it s downloaded, burn the image (iso) to a dvd and boot from it to install the beta OS. Make sure you make room on your existing hard drive for it or install it to a slave drive because once August rolls around W7 Beta will cease to function.

i actually agree with the first poster. don t mess with beta unless you know exactly what you re doing. now that being said, Windows 7 Beta is one of the most finished operating systems i ve ever used. they put thought into this (aka put a facelift on Vista and renamed it).

If you re not sure where to download the iso file or what do with it afterwards, you should not be beta testing a product, especially an operating system. If you continue to download it, do not install it over your current operating system.
