I have Dell laptop with windows vista home, with IE 7, every time i load a browser it take about 10 seconds? -

I have IE 7.0.6000.16473 On firefox, the pages load right away, and on IE, once the page starts to load it is fast, but it will just sit there doing nothing for about 10 seconds, before it tries to load anything. Any suggestions would be great.

Before you launch IE, verify in the properties that it s not trying to open an unconnectable homepage. Also, try disabling the phishing filter. I m sure you ve already tried these...

IE is a weird browser, I have the same problem on windows xp. It takes a long time for it to load the web pages. I live in firefox and the best advice I can give you is to use firefox, it s faster, easier to use, and doesn t use up as many system resources as IE 7 does.
