It s very possible, but you can t just take a crap shot and try it. You have to be comfortable with a lot of things. http://www.pcworld.com/article/157977/se... Try that it could help.

This article might help you deciding better http://techpp.com/2009/02/07/upgrading-w... cheers

Hi dzadze, My name’s Ron. I work as a part of the Windows Outreach Team and thought I’d jump in and drop a couple of links that might help you out. You’re definitely going to want to check out the info for backing up files and programs here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... before installing Windows 7. You’ll need to have these files to restore your settings once the Windows 7 Beta is complete in August. Once you are ready to download and install the Windows 7 Beta go here to get the step-by-step guide: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... It sounds like you’ll want to set up a dual-boot situation. You can find information on how to do this here: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows... Again, just to be on the safe side, I’d recommend doing a backup of your files and settings. Hope this helps out. If you have additional questions, feel free to get at me. Cheers, Ron Windows Outreach Team
