Most likely, Vista will just go away as did Windows Millenium. Vista is crap even by Microsoft s standards. This they admit by replacing that O/S completely and making available discs that allow people to return their computers to XP.
Vista will still be available but will eventually die out because it s pretty bad anyway. If you buy a Vista PC (Home premium / ultimate / professional) after July 1st 2009, you can get a free upgrade to Windows 7
