How to get rid of windows XP on a dual boot computer? -

I kept XP on my computer when I installed Vista cause of the horror stories I heard but I love Vista and I never use XP anymore.I lodged on XP today and it look like an ancient OS.lol My questions are,can I safely remove windows XP to free up the drive space and if so,how? Now,can I use the space from XP and install the windows 7 beta? I saw it at my friends computer and its awesome. Is it still available for download?

If you did it right, windows XP is on a different partition than Vista.Move all you personal files to the OS you use and then right click on the partition that contains XP and select quot;formatquot; You can still download windows7 and during installation select the partition you had XP to install 7.

well, if you wanted to free up some space, just delete the windows xp folder. it wont completely erase it, but it will get you about 8-10 gigabytes. Windows 7 beta is still available for download, and i am currently using it. if you like vista, then you will like windows 7 as well. very quick and light feeling.
