Can i have windows 7 beta as my sole operating system? -

and then when it stops i ll install xp again..

yes, you can or you can use a timestopper for windows 7 (just google it) it will make it so it doesnt expire, but by then you will want to buy windows 7 if its out

You ”can” use Windows 7 Beta as your primary OS, although Microsoft advises against it. If you are running XP and have enough hard disk space to partition a separate drive, then you can certainly dual-boot XP and Windows 7 Beta. When the Beta expires on Aug. 1, 2009, you just clear the Windows 7 partition and go back to using just XP. Here are some guides to help you if you are interested, as well as a link to the Windows 7 Beta download page. http://lifehacker.com/5126781/how-to-dua... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... You can have it as long as it meets the system requirements. Windows 7 beta is a higher version OS so there are compatibilities needed for it to run smoothly.
