Do you think its a good idea for Microsoft and Windows 7? -

I believe, for those of us with Vista, should get Windows 7 for free. We should get it for free seeing that Vista and the developers at Microsoft just ate up all our money on an OS that is mediiocre for a company that is so LARGE. There are problems in Vista that they quot;fixquot; or have quot;updatesquot; for to install. As much as I love my PC...i do not like the fact that I will have to pay more money for a newer OS, just because my current OS is a POS. Vista=2 years and TANK. When Microsoft comes out with a NEW OS in just about less than 2 years...that proves that those people at Microsoft know they F d up...they KNOW IT. Either Microsoft comes out with an incentive for those of us with Vista, or we will all be screwed over, once again, by the genius who is a quot;necessary evilquot;. A quot;necessary evilquot; because my PC only supports Windows...oh sure i could get Linux or Ubuntu...but i have grown accustomed to Windows...and PC s dont neceesarily support the Mac OS, unless you know what to do and how to do it. What do you guys think?

Yes, I agree with this to some extent. I think Microsoft should offer an upgrade to Windows 7 for a reduced price (something like $20 to $40), same price for every version (Windows Vista Home Basic to Windows 7 equivalent of Home Basic, Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate, etc.) I also think Microsoft should charge more reasonable prices. $400 MSRP for Vista Ultimate is hardly justifiable; it should be more like $200 for the full version and $100 for the upgrade. Microsoft should also make 3 editions of Windows (not 8). Windows 7 Standard (equivalent of Vista Home Premium) and Windows 7 Ultimate for retail customers, and possibly a third for enterprise customers.

No I do not agree. They are running a business not a charity. If you don t like the way Microsoft runs its business then don t use their products. quot;sure i could get Linux or Ubuntu...but i have grown accustomed to Windowsquot; And that is your problem.

Contact Microsoft customer service about that and they will change it for you right away.
