If Windows 7 came from Vista, then why is there still Vista? -

Answer is straight. When vista came, why was XP still there? And remember, win 7 has not yet officially released, but only beta testing versionhas been given to a lucky few at pdc and winhec.

Because Vista is a truly great operating system. I ve been running Vista Ultimate for 2 years now with not even the slightest problem. Cleaner, sleeker user interface.......wide driver support........much faster bootup time than XP, and so forth. Just because they re working on Windows 7 doesn t mean you get rid of the operating system that W7 is based off of. Microsoft didn t get rid of NT just because they were working on Windows 2000 and they didn t get rid of 2000 just because they were coming up with XP. (By the way, why would you ask this question in a religion amp; spirituality forum?)

Yes why is there still a Vista, in fact I m really puzzled why there s still a windows at all.

I ******* hate Vista. I m stuck with it though because my school doesn t work with any other system.
