I know its a beta, but If someone has some insight or a similar problem, please let me know. I installed the beta of windows 7 32-bit and everything seems to be running fine except for my ability to print. The OS doesnt recognize the printer (but Vista did). I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, start the spooling in command prompt, and downloaded a newer driver but none of it worked. Perhaps its incompatible (Lexmark x3430) but I heard that Vista and Windows 7 were supposed to be mainly compatible. It just says that it doesn t exist on my computer. Any help is appreciated
Just right-click on the setup file and click on quot;Properties.quot; Then select the quot;compatibilityquot; tab. Select the quot;Run this program in compatibility mode for:quot; and choose Vista. Click quot;OK.quot; Now, right-click on the file and select quot;Run as administrator.quot; It should run fine!!!
Okay, first of wall why would you put windows 7 on a primary computer especially if it warns you to not do that on the install?
Depends on the Windows 7 Build.
