a vista is a view, it is named that because the Aero interface looks so good. Windows Vista has some serious problems, mainly in hardware/ driver compatibility. Service pack 1 took care of the worst (my 64 wasn t bad) Windows 7 looks like it will be an upgraded Vista, hopefully without the problems, but it is still in beta. and is likely to have its own teething problems.

windows vista is currently Microsofts latest opperating system before vista there was windows xp and depending on how old your computer is chances are your running xp.. windows 7 is only a beta which means it hasnt been released yet. it will be Microsofts newest opperating system
For me VISTA is perfect. I am testing Windows 7 nd it ia about thesame for my simple needs. It will have a new name when released VSTA is Windows 6 actually,ie, the sixth versiion released.

I really think vista is to slow, internet explorer 7 is much better,,, there is no internet explorer 7 beta but there is beta 8 silly answers...........
