How much RAM,CPU and video do we need for WINDOWS 7? -

Pretty much the same as Vista, though Windows 7 seems faster Recommended minimum requiresments: 1 GHz x86 processor 1 GB of RAM 128mb directx 9 compatible video card (If you want to use Aero) It will run on lower specs than that, but probably won t perform well

Too early to say. The OS is still in BETA stage and might change considerably before final release. The worst thing at this stage is that Windows 7 BETA has the UAC feature introduced in Vista.

It runs sweet as a nut for me with these specs. 2.4ghz P4 CPU 1gb PC2100 RAM 256mb GeForce 6200 much better performance than Vista on the same machine. LUG.

here you go http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... i m opting not to do the beta test i m gonna wait for retail release then wait a year or so until it s all ready to go

We have the same question, however, all im sure about is that u need a pretty good video card as windows 7 runs on DirectX 11. Compared to vista s DirectX 10. Atleast a Nvidia 8600 XX or ATI HD4670
