Vista is the worst version of Windows OS I ve ever had, yet its the most attractive (and what I m using.) Windows XP is definately the most stable of the OS s... but it is said that this new up and coming Windows 7 will be great. PS. The reason it is coming out so soon is because Windows quot;Mojavequot;/Vista failed to market because of its flaws.
I am using the now. Though its rough around the edge (IE getting your drivers to work, when they arent intended for Windows 7) I am now using it for every day use. I love it, its exactly like vista (Only better?) without all the negative points IE: overtaxing your system resources on idle etc. Very stable for me so far. One crash when I Tabbed out of a video game.. but I have repeated it several times since with no issue.. so i didnt lodge a bug issue. Though i would not recommend using it unless you are technical and versed in computers.
no
I ve played with windows 7 and I like it. That being said... What s everyday use? Is it surfing youtube for the most awesomest clips, or is it crunching time-sensitive data with which your job is on the line? If it s the former, go ahead. If the latter, stick with vista. There are millions of people using Vista, discovering bugs, reporting problems, and many MSFT engineers working on keeping it going. On the other hand, there are a handful of people beta-testing Windows 7, and it is not a priority to fix a bug or cater to each user individually, as the impact of a bug is small. My vote: Dual boot and use Win7 when you re feeling giddy, use vista when you have work to do. Keep backups.
Being that it is only in Beta right now - the answer to that question would still be no. It is certainly ok to use it and check out the system.
I think Vista is already very stable, so if Windows 7 is quot;more stablequot; then yes, it should be stable... until August 1st when it automatically deactivates ;)
Don t bother with Windows 7. just wait untill it s release. Vista is VERY stable now. ive not had ANY problems with it what-so-ever. however i still prefer XP to conserve memory :)
Make sure your useing IE 8 then donload windows 7 Beata for free and give it a test drive. Dont forget to create a restore point befor you download 7
