I paid around ￡700 brand new (2 months ago). But I use VirtualBox to run my virtual machines; Mandriva Linux, Windows 7 (beta) and XP. Basically get a laptop with 3GB of RAM, get VirtualBox and install whatever OS you want on it. You don t need to get a Sony FW, if you don t want to ;) For example, I can run Mandriva and XP at the same time, on top of Vista. Macs are terribly overpriced so I would say it is not worth it, especially for what you want to do. Mac is a terrible platform for gaming. And powerpoint and word are microsoft applications.
Yeah you just put windows 7 on the macbook the way you put vista or xp on it, but its quite pointless getting a mac just to put windows on it, i would just get a normal laptop then do that.
Get a windows machine. Why buy a mac and try and put windows on it when you can just go buy windows?
no you cant put windows 7 on a mac but im not sure if windows vista hasnt come out for the mac then it would be another two or three years before windows 7 came out for mac
