Why doesnt Microsoft just make Windows 7 come out as an update for Vista rather than a new Operating System? -

1. Because it isn t a minor update 2. Because they can make more money that way 3. Because Vista has a bad reputation that they want to escape

Updates are free, full versions are paid. It s bizinezz innit :)
