Dual booting windows 7 and xp question.? -

right. okay...so ive already partitioned my hard drive. got about 75 gb s for windows 7....everytime i put in the dvd which i burned the iso too...im getting an error. my friend told me you cant install windows 7 to xp. but there seems to be guides to dual booting seven and xp. any help here?

Lets put is this way.. If you downloaded the legal release of Windows 7 Beta 1 from Microsoft on Jan 9/09 then you are **** outa luck. You will have to have Vista SP1 running on your system. It will upgrade your Vista to Windows 7 Beta. There is no Dual Booting this one. Now if you have an illegal version of Windows 7 Beta than that is a diffent story.

you have to have vista to install windows7 xp is outdated won t work gt;gt;read install instructions yes you can dual boot i did with vista http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows...
