Why doesnt Farcry work in Windows 7? -

currently using the Windows 7 beta (build 7000) but I can t get Farcry to run (the first farcry) It s nothing to do with my computer as it ran in Vista on the same setup AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2GB DDR400 RAM MS-7184 mobo HD4850 It installs alright and I ve updated it to v1.4 but any time i try to load,it just stays at a black screen until i Ctrl+Alt+Del it. I ve tried using compatibility mode for Vista and XP and even ran as admin but it just doesn t seem to work.

Its because Windows 7 isn t finished yet and still has a lot of bugs, it shouldn t be viewed as a replacement OS until it is released, the beta release is just a release to get the publics feedback on what they like or dislike and remember far-cry came out long before Windows 7 was even thought of. So even when 7 is finally released I would be surprised if it works.
