Cant boot from dvd to install windows 7 but its #1 in boot order...? -

i dont know what else to do, i went into bios and it was already set to dvd and i even burnt windows 7 at 600kbs the slowest and verrified the data. can someone help me , thanks!!

If you have more than one CD / DVD drives, make sure that particular one is set up to be the first boot. If not able to change it, use the other drive. What you can do for now is disable boot up on all HD. I am not sure if this is very helpful.

Windows 7 is currently a beta product. Are you sure the copy you have is good? How did you verify the download? The disc? What did you use to burn the ISO to the DVD? Are you absolutely sure that your computer will boot from DVD and not just CD? Anyone that can t get it installed on their own is probably not a good candidate for a beta test anyway -- how will you deal with any of the (anticipated) glitches??
