Windows-7 Beta Download? Is it really worth it? ? -

I ve been going back and forth with this decision on weather or not to download the beta? I still have XP Pro, and willing to partition my hard drive on my comp. to have both OS, but man I m still debating...Can someone tell me if I should just wait till the hard copy come s out? If yes, where s the best place to download, besides MS?

The Windows 7 beta is excellent. They greatly improved the performance and user experience of Vista. However the beta software expires in August and it is only the first public release. If you install it just understand that you will probably be wiping it out and reinstalling a new version of the beta in just a few months.

Yes, it is worth it to try the Windows Seven beta, cause if you report many bugs, you can be lucky to get the done version when it comes out. The best place is Microsoft s download.

I have it running now and it is OK but you should remember it is still in the early stages and will not be released foe another year, but I can t see any problem running it on a second partition just so you can see what it is like
