Hey Snake, thanks for running the flag up on the Win7 potential release. Can I call it MiniWin7? My search into this leads me to suspect that it will be a trimmer more modular approach than we ve seen from the NT family so far. My concern is how closely married will be MS s core elements of services to it, and will there be any choices? No hard knock on em, but MSN live doesn t inspire me much. I would think they will have some lessons learned from the EC fiasco. Is this really MS s jump into the pool of small life devices?

@Linux Ubuntu geek : Speech recognition does work. It s said that there was problems with the mike picking up other signals. Anyways, many people have shown their own videos of speech recognition, and it works surprisingly well. Can t wait for Win7. Report Abuse

There could be one of two reasons for this. 1) They want to kill XP off once and for all. 2) They recognize that Vista hasn t been received well in general. Or maybe both Good luck. LUg. Edit : Microsoft The Possibilties Question is will it work ? Remember speech recognition !
