Help with Windows Beta 7? -

I am trying to install windows beta 7, but whenever i get to the page where i choose the partition of my hard drive to install it on, the installer tells me that quot;Windows needs the driver for device [TOSHIBA RAID]. Click Load Driver and load the required device driver.quot; What driver do i load?? (my computer is a Toshiba). Thanks.

Hey lars- Jeff here with the Windows Outreach Team. I am not tech support so I do not have an exact technical answer to your question, but I have some things to look into. First, look at this Toshiba driver download page. You may be able to find the right driver here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/... . I know this is a Vista driver page, but drivers that work for Vista should work for Windows 7 as well. If that does not help, try asking this question at Microsoft s QnA site. Why are you trying to install the beta 7 version - I have heard it s a complete nightmare and lots of websites etc do not load, and lots more issues with it. And you are already having problems - its my guess you ll be uninstalling it within days - I d be interested in seeing an update here if you do. You can google the driver and get that if you need to. Good luck with it.
