Would this laptop that im using be compatiable with the new windows 7 touch screen feature? -

No. You would actually be better off getting a MacBook or MacBook Pro which already have a multi touch glass track pad and run Mac Leopard (and Windows if needed) The problem with touch screens is that by the end of the day your whole screen is covered in dirty smudgy finger marks and you can t read what you have typed. With the glass track pad you have multi touch guestures such as pinch, squeeze and rotate without having to actually touch the screen. Shown here http://www.apple.com/macbook/features.ht...

I ve been running Windows 7 for two weeks and never knew of any touch screen feature. Just typed quot;Touch screenquot; into the search box on Help amp; Support (while running Windows 7) and got no results.

It would be compatible with Windows 7, but not as a touch-screen computer.

W 7 is still being developed. It may or may not be compatible. I found a fwe things that don t work on W7 but do on VISTA.
