Does Windows 7 update itself and does Windows 7 build 7000 has a basic edition? -

Does Windows 7 update itself if a new version comes out ( example windows 7 build 8000) and does the build 7000 comes with a basic edition. I wanted to know how much memory windows 7 beta uses (PF usage and cpu usage in windows task manager) ? If it dows not have a basic edition, which versions are there? For people who will give me the PF/CPU usage don t forget to include your processor s power.

It will NOT update itself to future builds. There will only be one Beta (most likely) anyway and then an RC following. Build 7000 IS a beta so you want to be careful with it if you are not particularly tech-savvy since it will have bugs. The edition shipped is Ultimate. You can t go to basic.
