Windows 7 (Build 6801) Microsofts apparent lack of action, are things changing? -

Curious Microsoft do not seem openly bothered that Windows 7 (Build 6801) has become so widely available online. Could this be a new relaxed approach to encourage use of development builds ? Your thoughts LUg.

As I recall they weren t too bothered about quot;Longhornquot; (Vista) being available online, either. I think they view it as a sort of advertising, only really worrying about the final version because that s the one that will accept whatever updates are made available after release. I suspect.
