Windows 7 dualboot question? -

hello i just installed windows 7 on my computer i tried to dualboot it with vista it didnt work properly is there anyway of recovering my file or dualboot it with a new version of vista? thank you

my question is how you got your hands on 7 when its not even out yet. My bet would be its a beta? In that case there is a good chance you have been beta-bitten lol

I presume you had Vista installed first. Did you create a new partition on your drive whilst in Vista and then reboot with the Windows 7 DVD in your drive to install that to the second partition? What happens when you power your system on?

If it doesn t dual-boot properly that s a bug. Report it and single boot it on the computer you re going to test it on. (You re not seriously contemplating putting a beta operating system on a computer you need, are you? What if one of the bugs is to delete all partitions it finds?)
