It runs sweet as a nut for me with these specs. 2.4ghz P4 CPU 1gb PC2100 RAM 256mb GeForce 6200 much better performance than Vista on the same machine. I have been working with Windows 7 (Builds 6801,6956 and now 7000 BETA 1) It has the speed and stability of XP, and the looks and security of Vista. In short its everything Vista should have been and can t wait for the final release. LUG.
HI, As always Beta is a nice name, however, it is always stands for Experimental stage till they find the weakness point of that specific software and then resolve them, or solve most of them, then it will move to be an Alpha Stage software that will meet the US Consumer Protections Standards, and will be allegeable for release to the public in the market. Software companies do that, so it can let average people try it, they put people under the impressions of they are the first people to evaluate these software, and be the first to try it, and if there is anything wrong, please report it to us and will help you solve it. However, what average Joe does not know that by testing these products is saving the company tons of money, and make the process faster and cheaper, than just let Software testing facilities examine the product. However, all of that is mentioned in the EULA, or End User License Agreement, however, how many of us have taken the time and went through it and read it? None, because we trust these big names, Microsoft, Apple, Curl, Java, Suns Micromedia, etc. I hope this will help,
