How can you ask that question on Yahoo! Answers with an empty HDD?
Yep, shouldn t be any problem. Just pop the disc in the drive, set your BIOS to boot off the optical drive, and you ll be good to go. I personally wouldn t have recommended formatting your hard drive to install an operating system that is still in the beta stages, but it s your computer so do what you want. I would suggest using some desktop virtualization software, like VMware or Virtual PC, if you just want to tinker around with Windows 7 without risking your quot;realquot; computer. Moot point now though.
As long as your computer can handle Win 7 Beta, you can install it. Go into your BIOS and set it so that it will load from CD/DVD first before loading the HD. Put the Win 7 Beta install DVD into the drive and restart your computer. Follow the instructions and you should be on your way.
Yes, your can, but your need boot distributive Windows 7
Unless it was completely full then it should work WITH stuff on it. Just boot to CD and install. But windows 7 sucks.
Yes sure, you can install any Window in your hard disc after formatting.
You should be able to, as long as your hardware is compatible in every other way that the beta software requires.
You must install the OS first.
Hah, you said hard disk
