Should I get a laptop with vista, or wait until windows 7? -

I want to buy a new laptop, but windows 7 is supposed to be released sometime later this year, should I get one now with vista or wait? Will they charge me more for a laptop with windows 7? Why did you choose your answer? (aka, don t say quot;wait.quot;)

well with all the problems going on with vista id just say wait...unless you need the labtop now.if not yeah just wait 7 is suppose to be a whole lot better.

I am not sure, how urgent u require a laptop. But if u would buy a new laptop with windows7, then yes it will surely cost u more. But any ways, donot buy vista. Vista requires lots of memory and is a real slow OS . I donot know what it does all of the time. It has problem with all the programs that i run. So it is a real pain to use Vista. Also i really do not know your requirement, but i would suggest to not go with a very new OS, because a new OS is always full of glitches. And ofcourse with time Microsoft tries to take care of most of them. But u have not used it and plus it still doesnot have any reviews, so u cannot really tell how it is going to be! Instead if u go with XP u would be much more happier.

You could always get a laptop now and install windows 7 beta on a separate partition. Or just get rid of vista altogether and replace it with the w7 beta like I did.
