Does VMWare run on Windows 7? -

I know Windows 7 will run in VMWare.. Will VMWare Workstation (or server) run on Windows 7 yet?

Vmware should work with Windows 7. At the core, 7 is not much different than Vista. so it should be able to run any software that Vista can . It can even use Vista drivers. Windows 7 is basically just a faster and improved Vista

ALL YOU NOOBS SHUT UP! Windows 7 has not been released to the public, but 30 seconds on TPB got me a torrent of build 7000, and it doesn t have any viruses or ANYTHING, there s no reason it would. Now, to answer your question: No. VMware is currently producing a version of their software for windows 7 right now, but unless you can get a beta of that it s a no go. Hope this helped.

The copy of Windows 7 you have is probably packed with trojans, viruses, and worms. obviously Windows 7 is not out yet so no its not yet compatible but it will be once Windows 7 is released.
