Im downloading the Windows 7 Beta, but what do I do after the trial period is over? -

Will it automatically prompt me to go back to Vista, or would I have to throw in the Vista disc my laptop came with?

You ll have to either upgrade to Windows 7 at that point (if it s released by then) or reformat your system with the original Vista install. This is why it s recommended to install Windows 7 on a separate partition or system rather than upgrading your existing installation of XP/Vista.

KyledKat- Hi, my name s Cody, and I m working with the Windows Outreach Team to help answer questions users might have about their copies of the Windows 7 Beta. According to Microsoft, you should be prepared to reinstall your prior version of Windows following completion of the Beta testing period on August 1, 2009. Thanks, Cody Windows Outreach Team

well it depends if you dual boot. its just like any other OS install.. either dual and forget about it (Not reccomended) reformat and install Windows 7 and then reformat and put vista back.. or Buy Windows 7

you will have to restore your PC to it s original OS from the recovery DVD
