Goodday make my day- As stated previously in this thread, Windows 7 is the successor to Windows Vista. Currently the Windows 7 OS is in its beta stage, meaning that people are using it, finding out what works and what doesn t, and then reporting back to Microsoft so they can work out the OS s kinks before the final, finished version is released. Here is the Windows 7 homepage. There is a video here that demonstrates some of the new features that is worth looking at as well. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... Right now it s just a beta version of the next version of Windows. If Microsoft s track record is any indication, it may be a couple years before it s ready for release. I haven t really heard much about it, so I can t comment on whether it s an improvement over Vista or XP.
It should be a cross over between vista and xp. Stable as xp, but as cool as vista. Thats what i ve heard, it might be totaly false.
Its vista 2. Instead of fixing vista for all us users they are making us pay for a new system. The beta is pretty buggy so i think im gonna join everyone else and switch to mac.
Windows 7 is Microsoft s next version of Windows that is slated to be released sometime next year.
It s the beta version of a new windows system.
