Anyone looking forward to Windows 7? -

I watched a little preview on YouTube about some of the quot;newquot; features and it seems to me as if MS has simply given up on creating anything truly New and simply resorted to copying what Apple has already put out and calling it quot;NEWquot;.

hmmmm I hear it is going to be the best OS for MS yet.. I listen to a computer talk show.. the host says all the problems of previous OS are worked out and everything is running smoothly... hope so anyway.. we will see

No, I am not looking forward to Windows 7. I m an Ubuntu user, so I get the priviledge of running full-blown eye candy that surpasses anything Windows + Mac eye candy can do, all while keeping the system running fast, stable, and on lower memory resources than what Vista requires. So, no. Anything Windows 7 could offer me I pretty much already have in Ubuntu land.

(nasal half grunt, half sigh, kind of quot;eeeeehhhhquot;)...I ve come to the conclusion that Windows was built for geeks by geeks, so it has a robust programming interface with bad graphics (in comparison), whereas Mac et. al. were built for users by users...just choose based on your appeal (Windows is highly overused).
