if it was beta, i think there is some way. try add/remove programs (who knows)
Well, we need to know if you have a vista installation disk, or when the computer was purchased and what company, as sometimes they let you press certain keys to reinstall the operating system that shipped with it (example F11 during boot). To get both you have to make 2 partitions and install vista on one, and then install windows 7 AFTERWORDS on the second one. When installing more than one windows, you have to start from oldest and work up to the newest or it will install it and won t give you the option to start up the newer one. It looks like you did an upgrade from vista to windows 7, and Microsoft strictly warns against doing this and says before they let you download the beta to only install it fresh, as they haven t worked out the updating bugs yet. (hence it being in beta still)
Get a new hard drive... And did you uninstall Vista to install Windows 7 over your Vista install? If so then I will say that you should never ever do that with a beta.
You dont need a new hard drive, but if u want to keep vista and windows 7 then you need to do something called Dual Booting you will need to reinstall vista over windows 7 first tho, and im guessing you have windows 7 cd already burned, so there is no need to make a cd of windows 7 heres a tutorial for it http://www.networkworld.com/community/no... i hope this helps :D
