I have win XP with their default windows messenger 4.7 and cant download live messenger, GET ERROR 0x80070652 -

says finish running another program already running. Have internet explorer 7 and XP service pack 3.

hi, Reboot your PC.. once completely loaded. open task managers and in processes find msmsgs.exe. Right click and end the processes. Then try updating thing the messenger. it should work. Thanks Reagrds Sri http://www.support1000.com

Seems that one or more of the add-ins has/have corrupted some system files. First backup your own data files, and then try to remove and reinstall Windows XP SP1, SP2 and SP3 from Microsoft link here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/
