I m really looking forward to windows 7, but would it be safe to upgrade to the latest beta version (build 6956) fro Vista SP1? Or would it be better to just wait for the complete one to come out? -My PC specs- Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 Intel Pentium D 935 (2 cores @ 3.2GHz) XFX 680i lt SLI 6GB DDR2 @800MHz 2x nVidia 8600GT super + 1GB in sli mode P.S. Also, any suggestions on how to improve my PC would be apreciated, Just keep it under ￡50 (about $75) NOT FROM EBAY!!!!!!
Sounds like your computer is pretty new, and Windows 7 is sure to have lots of bugs and stuff. Unless you re a developer, I would wait until the full release.
Given Microsoft s horrible record of bugs, issues and such, I wouldn t download anything beta from them.
i would stay away from win7 beta for now unless in a virtual machine.
