If you are not sure, then you may not be technically savvy enough to deal with all the problems that you could have as far as drivers and hardware and all that stuff. Especially seeing you have a laptop and if it s more than a few yrs old.
it looks the same as vista, and works the same too, its still a beta at the moment, and the beta will only work untill august. so you can download it to check it out if you want, do you have a spare pc to load it onto? if you load it onto your pc it will wipe all your files and you wont getn them back windows 7 is just for testing purposes at the moment, and as I say, its no different from vista.
Hello Keyshia- My name is Jeff and I work with the Windows Outreach Team. If you are questioning whether or not you should download the Windows 7 Beta, you should take a look at the Windows 7 Beta installation instructions. Read up on the do’s, don’ts, and what you will need to complete the download and install Windows 7. Those should let you know if you if you are ready to try out Windows 7 Beta. Thanks for your interest. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... Best, Jeff Windows Outreach Team
No! I have just downgraded from vista to xp - it may be the latest thing to get but its a pile of rubbish - very unstable, loads of bugs and if you like the cheap games that run on XP (e.g. my fav Theme Hospital) then definately dont cos they wont run. I wont be changing for a long time!
