I m not sure you quot;canquot; prevent and error from happening due to an update patch from MS Updates...With some computers (depending on your configuration) this may cause problems with a program...in others (Like mine) won t at all... Of course I ve disabled every single service that s not needed on my system, and disabled every single account with the exception of my own admin account...(This includes the default admin account!) This way I have total control over all my system s settings...

Why are you going unprotected? There are many free Antivirus and Antispyware programs that you can use. Only select one Antivirus program. Never use more than one. This free AV program uses the Kaspersky AV. It is one of the very best AV programs available. http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivir... AVG, AVAST, AntiVir are free and available at this safe download site. http://www.filehippo.com/ While you are there, get some Free Antispyware protection. These are very good and will give you great protection. For proper protection you want 3 AS programs providing full time protection. I use each of these. most virus are spread through IE.
